Life seems to have a funny way of sneaking up on you.

Rereading that I have a horrible feeling I may have quoted Alanis Morrisette. I apologise profusely and unreservedly,it wont happen again.

It's Ironic really (sorry sorry).

Anyway things you don't expect come up and you are left dealing with fallout that you never had before. Not that it's all bad! The good stuff comes with unexpected downsides and vise versa.

So, I have a hatred of technology. Actually that's not that true. I feel about technology the way Gollum feels about the one ring. I love it and yet hate it's hold on me. It promises so much then when you don't expect it it bends you over a barrel and gets down to business.

What is it with the people that design this overpriced shit? Why can't they just keep it simple? I don't care how many flashing lights it has as long as it works!

Bastards.

Fighting the tide

Bloody hell, I am so swamped at work. I have grabbed a minute to post this.

I am used to a job where you never finish but this is getting silly.

On the bright side I am not bored and have no time to think.

A vow of slience?

I realise I have been uncharacteristically quiet recently. A lot has happened in the UK and abroad. There has even been events in my own life that I haven't felt the need to talk about?

Why? I shall tell you. Pull up a chair and call the cat a bastard (to quote nanny Ogg).

I have been 'meh' generally. I seem to have broken the rage generator which hasn't failed me before. The anti rage version of kryptonite has been shovelled onto my plate and I find myself suddenly unable to lift a pencil.

Anyway, I haven't felt I had much to add except to comment on the excellent posts of other people.

Yes Blair is going. No, I don't dislike Gordon Brown. I nothing him. He seems sane enough but you never know with politicians, maybe he is really good at hiding the lunacy until he is in a position to thrust us into another war?

Cameron? Smug git.

Ming? I wouldn't trust that old pedro with the TV remote control let alone the big red button.

All in all not a lot to choose between them. Our country is being run by incompetents simply because thats all the choice there is. If you don't want fruit there is no point shopping at a fruiterers (yes it's a real word, I shit you not).

Even now with targets like these idiots I can only raise a mild dislike. The source of all my powers has been snatched away or perhaps there is no more rage in the well. A scary scary thought.

Maybe I have pushed the rage too far and ended up in the calm beyond the chaos. I think I am practically zen now! Except there are occasions where I am likely to try to make people eat my begging bowl rather than chant the koans.

On the bright side it's Friday and I am out of here soon and on me way to the pub. The way I feel at the moment there is not enough beer in the world. This could go pearshaped.

I saw this southpark episode a while back and nearly tore my colon laughing. It's a weird thing about us Brits that there has been a certain mockery directed at those of a ginger disposition.

Don't really see it myself. I have always had a thing about red heads. So anyway despite the contention of some of my colleagues that gingers smell I have to say that red heads are hot. Well, some of them are. Anyway there was a big debate and mothers got insulted.

I thought I would add this issue to my blog to see if people felt strongly one way or another.

If you can get the whole episode it's well worth doing so.
